The Jewish Lens' Founder Zion Ozeri along with EDGE (Enrichment, Development and Growth for Educators) Director Hugh Kirsch was recently interviewed by the American Jewish World News to talk about TJL in Minneapolis/St. Paul. EDGE is a program of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
Throughout our New Beginnings Facebook contest, 56 students have submitted photographs. Congratulations to each of them for submitting wonderful photographs and commentary!

The Grand Prize goes to Michal Paniry, Grade 8 of Miami, Florida. Michal's photograph had 1,229 Likes!
The Runner Up Prize goes to Adir Levy, Grade 9, Miami Florida, with 1,178 Likes.
We also want to mention our Third Place Prize goes to Blake Egozi, Grade 11, Golden Beach, FL had 1,075 Likes.
All of the students did a truly amazing job. Thank you for participating, and we look forward to running this contest again!

The Jewish Lens in collaboration with the St. Louis Central Agency for Jewish Education and with the generous funding of The Covenant Foundation is launching its community-wide initiative (CWI) on Sunday, October 30, 2011.
The first teacher training for the new TJL Miami Community-Wide Initiative is scheduled for Monday, Sept 19th. Together with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and CAJE, we are excited to start this partnership and bring TJL to the Miami community!
