Rabbi Leor Sinai, Executive Director | lsinai@jewishlens.org
Rabbi Leor Sinai is excited about enhancing Jewish learning and connectivity through visual learning. His passion for Jewish learning and development stems from involvement in Jewish communal work, both professionally and as a volunteer, including the American Zionist Movement, Jewish National Fund, and the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU, to name a few . Through his work for The Jewish Lens Rabbi Sinai’s focus is on advancing informal education, engaging youth, and building bridges among Jewish communities leading to a greater sense of Klal Yisrael. Rabbi Sinai holds a BA in Jewish Studies, minoring in Theater, from the City University of New York, and was ordained by The Jewish Theological Seminary with a Masters in Hebrew Letters concentrating in Talmud and Rabbinics. Rabbi Sinai currently resides in New York with his wife and two sons.
Karen Jarmon, Education Director | kjarmon@jewishlens.org
Karen Jarmon’s dedication to informal education stems from her ten years working in the Jewish camping community and her twenty years working in the museum education field. She has worked at Yeshiva University Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, to name a few. Karen holds a BFA in Education and Art History from the University of Massachusetts and a MS in Education specializing in museum leadership from Bank Street College. Karen lives with her husband and two girls in Brooklyn.
Kipp Friedman, Mid-West Coordinator kfriedman@wi.rr.com A native New Yorker, Kipp Friedman holds B.A.s in History and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He began his career as a reporter at several newspapers in South Florida before returning to Wisconsin, where he worked as an on-site public relations specialist for GE Medical Systems. Kipp then worked as Marketing & Public Relations Director at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center of Milwaukee for more than 13 years. He also is a professional wedding and b'nai mitzvah photographer and serves as a publicist for profit and nonprofit organizations in Milwaukee.
Shulie Seidler-Feller, Program Coordinator | sfeller@jewishlens.org
Shulie Seidler-Feller is a New York based photographer and educator. She holds an MFA in Photography and Video from NYU and a BA in Anthropology from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Prior to her work at The Jewish Lens, Shulie worked as the Arts Coordinator at the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU.
Jodi Sandler, Finance Director
Jodi Sandler is President of Sandler Business Services, a company she established in 1997. She manages the finances and operations of small organizations on a part-time basis. She was the Director of Finance at Avoda Arts for six years where she also managed the accounting for JDub Records, Brooklyn Jews and The Jewish Lens. She has a BFA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
